A few of us at Jump love The Current on CBC— especially their series “By Design”, so it was no surprise when we brought up today’s on-air topic: Fast Casual restaurants. More specifically, how these enterprises are redesigning the fast-food industry. Coupled with the power of the Millennial generation and the rise of everything digital, it is an interesting interplay between changing expectations about food, the spaces they are consumed in, and how technology is continuing to shape these ideas.
